Some of the minor annoyances I have though are that certain settings such as infill percentage are predefined, meaning you can't set a custom value.
WHERE CETUS3D U.S. SOFTWARE
The Cetus software is solid and does what it needs to do. The neat part however is that they are shipping this free to any existing owners, something that shows me they are quite committed to their user base. While there are printable fixes, they have recently designed a factory solution that will be shipped with all new orders. It doesn't bother me and I just hold the arm when I turn it off. They include a visible warning about this in the package but it could perhaps be considered a flaw.

The pre-production and early production models have an extruder arm that falls when the printer is powered off. To point out a couple things that didn't really fit into my review. They replied quickly and seemed responsive to it so fingers crossed the proprietary deterrent will be lifted soon. I recommended they open source the firmware/software asap (although there are open source smoothie boards available for it now), pick up a US distributor (ships from China) and either include the heated bed or make it an addon purchase for more visibility. After my review was complete, I e-mailed them some suggestions last night to address the low points that most complaints seem to be geared towards. I would absolutely agree with that, I have been blown away by the level of interaction and support they have with their community. The consensus of most owners is they have done a very poor job of marketing it themselves, although the product quality is superb. Overall I think this is an absolutely fantastic budget 3D Printer. where other owners provided some suggestions to help make it more comprehensive, offering additional items for the pros/cons category and correcting mistakes I made. I posted it on the Facebook support group first for feedback. There have been some people asking questions about it here, so I thought this may help someone searching for more info.

I finally finished up my review on the Cetus3D Printer yesterday. Non-reddit communities are listed in our getting started guide We welcome community contributions to this wiki! Related Communities
